Wine Lister opens up site to collectors
Fine wine analyst and consultancy service, Wine Lister, has opened up its website to private collectors and a broader slice of the fine wine trade.
Having launched as an aid to fine wine producers, Wine Lister has now launched a simplified version of its site which is free to use for the wine-interested public and fine wine collectors and a subscription service for the wider trade – called ‘Wine Lister Pro’.
The free service will give users limited access to Wine Lister’s range of analysis but covers important basics surrounding a wine’s market performance and ratings as well as highlighting an ever-shifting list of labels that might be considered ‘must buys’ at that particular moment due to their price and performance – either for potential future investment or for buying and drinking.
Wine Lister Pro, meanwhile, is now available to merchants, importers, agents, auction houses and so on, and offers Wine Lister’s complete breakdown of every label’s metrics such as its Quality, Brand and Economics ratings and side-by-side comparisons of up to 10 wines at a time.
Ella Lister, Wine Lister’s founder and CEO, said: “After three years of rapid growth and learning, we’re extremely excited to be introducing products tailored to different segments of the fine wine universe, be they consumers, trade, or the producers themselves. The uniting factor is of course our impartial database, upon which we have built a unique wine intelligence agency, thanks to our unmatched networks among these three groups and the inside track that gives us.
“By popular demand, we’re adding this human intelligence into the mix alongside increasingly sophisticated artificial intelligence, to bring our audience Wine Lister ‘Must Buys’.
“This new and continuously changing list is the ultimate guide to wines that consumers should be buying right now. These new targeted offerings join our fast-growing producer consulting business, to further enhance Wine Lister’s fine wine intelligence ecosystem.”
